The Department of Art History will host Karen Greenwalt’s dissertation defense on August 20 from 2:00-4:00 pm in 303 Henry Hall. The title of her dissertation is “Beyond the Nation: Rasheed Araeen, Bani Abidi, Hamra Abbas, and an Aesthetics of Resistance.” Members of UIC’s campus community are most welcome to join us for the defense.
